ABOUT
Two games. One world.
Bananacracy is a persistent, satirical political life sim that runs entirely in your browser. You can be a shopkeeper, a doctor, a teacher, a factory worker, a transport worker, a journalist — or you can climb the political ladder and try to reach Parliament. Every player lives in one country, votes in the same elections, and reacts to the same laws.
CITIZEN
Live a life.
- • Pick a profession — each reacts differently to every policy.
- • Daily tick pays your wages, charges your rent, and runs the market.
- • Vote, sign petitions, or become a journalist and break scandals.
- • 5-15 minutes/day is plenty. More if you want to follow politics closely.
POLITICIAN
Run for office.
- • Village council → town council → regional assembly → parliament.
- • Campaign in neighbourhoods with real citizens (who remember promises).
- • Propose laws. Watch the economy move. Face re-election on the results.
- • 20-60 minutes/day if you want the top job.
The daily tick
Once a day (midnight London time), the country advances: wages paid, taxes collected, budgets spent, laws applied, elections resolved, news generated. Between ticks, it's all people — chat, speeches, articles, deals, betrayals, the usual.
The rules we will never break
- • No ads.
- • No pay-to-win. Paying never makes your vote count more.
- • No real-world political content. This is a fictional country.
- • No loot boxes, no artificial scarcity, no FOMO pressure.
